Mailing vs. Same-Day Drop-Off to the MTC: Which Is Better?

When you're ready to send your missionary something at the Provo MTC, you've got two real choices: mail it yourself through a carrier, or use a same-day local delivery service. Neither is wrong — they fit different situations. Here's an honest side-by-side.

The two options at a glance

Mailing it yourself means using USPS, UPS, or another carrier — you package it, address it, pay postage, and hand it off. Same-day drop-off wins when a birthday or departure date is close, you're local to the Wasatch Front (Bountiful, Salt Lake City, Draper, American Fork), holiday delays are a concern, or you simply want certainty instead of a transit estimate.
