What Can You Send a Missionary at the Provo MTC?

A care package is one of the best ways to remind your missionary that home is cheering them on. But the MTC has guidelines about what can come in, and you want your package to actually make it to them. Here's a practical starting point.

Care-package ideas missionaries love

  • A handwritten letter or note from home — still the number-one thing missionaries say they want.

  • Favorite shelf-stable snacks and treats.

  • Small, practical items: stamps, pens, lip balm, hand sanitizer.

  • Photos of family, friends, and home.

  • Encouraging notes timed for a hard week or a birthday.

What to skip

Avoid anything perishable, anything that could melt or leak, and anything that runs against the MTC's health and safety guidelines. If an item needs refrigeration or has a short shelf life, it's not a good fit for a package.

Getting it there the same day

Once your package is ready, Rushly delivers it to the Provo MTC the same business day. Drop off at one of our four Utah partner locations before the cutoff, and we handle the rest.
